Coop Deville, a local Hammond restaurant offering a large variety of foods to choose from, but specializes in wing flavors. In the past, I have had experience with this restaurant since it was previously located on the Southeastern University campus through the restaurant row program. I'm not typically a buffalo wing kind of person but I did enjoy their chicken tender meals. Today I decided to go out of my comfort and drive over their main establishment located at 287 S Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA. Accompanying me was my buddy who unfortunately didn't get a chance to try them out when they were on campus.

What's on the Menu?

After entering the restaurant, we were greeted then seated at one of the booths. Thankfully we went at just the right time (Monday at 5:30PM), so it wasn't as busy as it could have been. Now it was time to look at what they had to offer. While looking at the menu, I and my buddy was surprised at the amount of different food options they had available. They had buffalo wings, burgers, salads, and other fried foods. There was so many to pick from but I decided to go with the boneless wings like I had first intended to get. My buddy had decided to get a burger with cheese covered fries.

Spicy, Sweet, and Everything in Between

With my order of boneless wings locked in my mind, I had to consider what kinds of sauce's I wanted to try (spoiler alert, I'm also not a sauce kind of guy). I was surprised once again. They offered a total of 36 different sauces! In the picture below, you can see all of the buffalo wing sauces they offer.

So you must be wondering, with so many flavors to choose from, what did I pick? I chose buffalo mild. I know it's not the craziest one I could pick but it's a start.

Some Final Notes on the Buffalo Wings and Atmosphere

Once we ordered our food, all we had to do now was wait. I didn't state this before but the establishment had a pretty laid back environment. There were TVs playing the news and the latest football games, so the wait passed over quickly. After waiting for a bit, we both got our orders and it was time to dig in. I have to say that the boneless wings were great but what I thought was really good was the buffalo mild sauce. As I've stated before, I'm not really a sauce guy so this was relatively new territory.

Would I Go Back?

As much as I love the current restaurant located on campus through restaurant row, The Blvd, I would enjoy to see Coop Deville make a return. So yes, I most definitely would go back. I thought the food, service, and atmosphere was great. I highly suggest trying this restaurant out, and if you're short time, your can make your order online and pick it up.
